Let us take up the Optimizer Module first.
Autorun Manager: With Autorun Manager, not only can you enable/ disable programs that start automatically on Windows startup(thus enabling you to start up your Computer faster), you can also get more information about any program in the Windows Startup. You can view the launch path, description, publisher, status (running/ not running) and the location of the startup command, whether it is located in the Windows Registry or on your Hard Disk.
Windows Tools: Revo Uninstaller's Windows Tools consists of the following separate utilities:
System Restore
Network Diagnostics - to view information about your Computer Hardware, OS, Internet Connection, Modem and Network Adapter configuration. You may also check Network connectivity and whether your Network-related programs and services are functional.
Network Information - Lets you view all current TCP/ IP Network configurations, DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) and DNS (Domain Naming System) settings, etc. It displays the complete IP Address, MAC Address, subnet mask, default gateway, WINS (Windows Internet Naming System) and DNS configuration.
Security Center - Similar to the built-in Windows Security Center, it displays three security essentials, namely Firewall, Automatic Updating and Malware/ Virus protection status. If any of these security essentials are not present, Security Center displays information as well as steps to correct the issue.
System Properties - Lets you view basic information about your Computer, like the CPU type, Total RAM, etc. You may also view and change the way your Computer uses Memory and the way it finds certain information (hardware and device properties). It also lets you configure hardware profiles, view information about network connection and logon profile. It also lets you report system and program errors to Microsoft, when they occur.
System Information - Basically a quick tool to locate information about your Computer and OS, System Information also includes information about hardware configurations, computer components and software, including signed and unsigned drivers.
TCP/ IP Netstat Command - This is a command that displays all active TCP/ IP connections and the TCP and UDP ports to which the Computer is listening to. It displays the executable involved in creating each of the connections or listening port, until the TCP/ IP was reached.
On-screen keyboard - Displays a Virtual Keyboard on the screen, allowing users with mobility impairments to type, using the mouse. It is also useful, if you suspect that a malicious Key Logger program has infected your machine: On-screen keyboard eliminates the ability to record keystrokes.
Disk Defragmenter - Runs the built-in Windows Disk Defragmenter program. However for best results in defragmenting your Hard Disk, we recommend that you read our article on Disk Managers. We review the best Disk Managers and present our recommended choice in there!
Services - You are presented with a screen showing all services configured on the machine, when you run this utility. Start, Stop, Pause, Resume or Disable a service on local/ remote Computers, by means of this utility.
Shared Folders - Use it to manage shared resources over a network, control user access permissions, session activity, shared resource properties and view a summary of connections and and resource use for local and remote Computers. It can also display a list of all users who are connected remotely (over a Network) to your Computer and disconnect one or all of them. You can also view a list of all files that are currently opened by remote users.
Group Policy - Group Policy includes user policy settings and for the Computer configuration. Group Policy settings define the various components of the user's desktop environment that a system administrator needs.
Add/ Remove Windows Components - helps in adding/ removing Windows components. After you install Windows, you may add further components that were not installed during the original installation. You may also remove installed Windows components that you no longer use.
Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - This utility checks Computers for specific malware that may be infecting the Computer, and removes it. Although this is not a replacement or substitute for a good AntiVirus or AntiSpyware program, it is recommended that this utility be run once in a while - say once a month, so that your Computer gets maximum protection.
Junk Files Cleaner - Find and remove unnecessary files from your computer; free up disk space and delete files you do not need!

Revo Uninstaller Procedure:
Revo Uninstaller uninstalls your selected program in three passes. In the first pass, it uses the built-in Uninstaller of the program you want to uninstall, doing nothing more than what it's developers intended it to do.
After the program's regular uninstaller is run, Revo scans the Windows Registry for any references to the just-uninstalled program. It then presents you with the values found in the Windows Registry, letting you choose one, more or all these Registry entries and deleting them, in the second pass. Do not be surprised at the number of entries in the Windows Registry even after the program's uninstaller (or Windows' Uninstaller) has been run! This is NOT to suggest that an Uninstaller can replace the need for a Registry Optimizer. Read more about Registry Optimizers by clicking here.
In the third and final pass, Revo Uninstaller scans your Hard Disk for any bits and pieces of the application's installation/ usage data. As before, do not be surprised at the number of unnecessary files, folders and registry keys left over by programs, even after the program's uninstaller (or Windows' Uninstaller) has been run! You are again presented with the option of selecting one, many or all the bits of data that Revo finds and deleting them.
